Ven du veynst, veynstu aleyn (When You Cry You Cry Alone), Yiddish theater waltz by Alex Silberstein

In the American Yiddish Penny Song collection, this song is titled Ven du veynst veynst du aleyn. (Today that would be Ven du veynst veynstu aleyn.) On the sheet music, however, it's titled: Ven Du Weinst und Ven Du Lachst and we note Alex sang it "with great success."
The words are repetitive and obvious (like, duh) but the tune is a nice waltz. Here is my recording with the English subtitles as always:

Here's a transliteration and my English translation from the Yiddish:
Dos iz bakant nit fun yetst

One who has money has the world
That's been well known for a long time
One who is rich has a lot of friends and is esteemed
They ask "How are you doing?" you live and laugh
The whole world laughs with you
But my friend, just become poor today,
You won't have any more friends
When you laugh and think you're rich
then everybody laughs with you
When you cry, you cry alone
Nobody hears your crying
When your heart is full of anguish
then you don't have friends any more
When you laugh, everybody laughs with you.
When you cry, you cry completely alone.
Mister, take a look. What is good fortune?
It never stays in the same place
When it's your guest, you laugh and joke
The whole world jokes with you
But happiness pulls away from you again
And misfortune comes in its place
When you suffer a lot and cry in the quiet
Nobody notices your weeping.
